A Simple Trick to Bypass Ads on YouTube

Start using AutoHotKey and, run a script containing this code (all the time) :

If (InStr(Clipboard, "https://www.youtube.com") = 1)

{

Clipboard := StrReplace(Clipboard, "watch?v=", "embed/")

}

}

Right-click on the video or link to the video and use the context menu to copy the link address.

Having put the link in your clipboard, you now press CTRL WIN T to process it. Then, in your browswer, do CTRL T for a new tab, or in the existing tab, just press CTRL L to get to the URL field and press CTRL V to paste the clipboard buffer. Press Enter to follow the updated link and you should see the video taking up the entire page with a play button. 

Or you'll see something that says "Video is unavailable. Watch on YT" (usually if the vid contains copyrighted music)
