- Capture likeness - audience should never have to guess
- Portrait is not enough. The context has to be captured.
- News judgement.
- Fairness and objectivity.
- Responsibility - you are capturing history.
- Work quickly - capture something that is transient.
- Conduct yourself with decorum. You are representing the press.
- Work should speak for itself with functionality and credibility.
